This is a great opportunity for a technical account manager with an entrepreneurial spirit. You'll be taking over key responsibilities as it relates to customer account management for a brand that is increasing their portfolio in NA. Our client is a successful, global brand, focused on automotive electronics.

This is a direct hire role opportunity. Some travel will be required, including one trip to Europe for training.

Key Account Manager The Key Account Manager plays a crucial role in managing customer relationships and ensuring effective communication between the customer and the company.

Responsibilities

Customer Interface

Responsible for the relationship with Customer

Regular customer visits (frequency depending on customer configuration and attitude/project status and RFQ’s)

Managing the customer worldwide (first contact person, make presentations at the customer…)

Collect all necessary information from the customer (model planning, quantities, strategy…)

Participate/manage customer visits, Kick Off Meetings, Audits...

Manage all commercial issues coming from daily business (logistic demand, samples, etc..)

RFQ and Offer Management

Price, development, tooling and sample cost negotiation with the customer (within internally approved boundary conditions)

RFQ and Offer management according to internal processes

Prepare the "RFQ package" with all the input data available and initiate the RFQ process

Support the whole RFQ process and upload all commercial data and documents

Maintain price list information and program life time dates (EOP, SOP)

Prepare sales Budget (deadlines defined by BD manager) and mid term sales Forecast plan

Analyze "portfolio" information and trends upon request by BD Manager or CEO (at least monthly)

Manage the distribution and approval of all customer contracts

Support the product marketing activities (market data, competitor information, shares...)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering)

5+ years of automotive technical sales experience

5+ years of automotive electronics business development
