You're a Fit If You:

High school diploma or equivalent

Customer service experience

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

Basic typing skills

Familiarity with 10-key

Experience with shipping software systems such as UPS and FedEx

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service skills

What You'll Be Doing:

Maintain positive working relationships with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints related to work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, and related matters professionally and effectively.

Process and enter customer orders accurately.

Generate stock reports to verify product availability.

Prepare all paperwork and documentation required for customer work orders.

Coordinate special and last-minute shipping requests with Traffic and Operations departments, expediting orders as needed.

Follow up with internal departments to ensure service standards are met.

Verify computer-generated invoices to ensure accurate account invoicing.

Prepare shipping and tracing information for customers as requested.

Maintain damage reports and backorder logs.

Communicate customer feedback and any signs of dissatisfaction to management.

Act as a liaison between the warehouse and customers regarding account administration, invoicing, and credit changes.

Oversee and maintain all order-related paperwork and files.

Maintain current and accurate procedure manuals detailing processing requirements for each account.
