Director of Clinical Partnerships - Physician Assistant Program

Position Overview

This is a full-time staff position within the Anderson Family College of Health Sciences (AFCOHS). The Director of Clinical Partnerships oversees the clinical rotation component of health science education. Areas of focus include recruitment and development of clinical sites required for Bethel’s healthcare programs, development of affiliation agreements between Bethel and healthcare organizations, and ensuring clinical sites are in compliance with the various programs’ accreditation standards. This individual will work closely with Program Directors and Medical Directors in the AFCOHS and will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, preceptors, and affiliated healthcare institutions. Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Dean of AFCOHS, Program Directors, Medical Directors, Clinical Coordinators, clinical staff, and healthcare institutions in securing and maintaining affiliation agreements for student placements. Ensure all clinical sites are compliant with the various programs’ accreditation standards Foster relationships with current clinical sites and preceptors and provide ongoing support, recognition, and appreciation for their contributions to the program Foster and maintain relationships with Bethel healthcare graduates as possible preceptors for AFCOHS programs Represent the AFCOHS at university and other organizational functions Engage in community activities and associations to help promote the AFCOHS programs Travel to various clinical sites is required. Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in applicable field required Experience: Experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales or healthcare administration Teaching experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
