We have an exciting opportunity for a Designer, FP I located in Omaha, NE.
Responsibilities How you will contribute:
Design automatic sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and AutoSprink.
Plan, organize and execute projects in coordination with a Sales Project Manager, including on-site field surveys, generating hydraulic calculations, submitting drawings to obtain required building permits, 3D BIM coordination using NavisWorks, preparing stock lists, ensuring projects adhere to proposed timelines and budgets, and preparing project close-out, operation and maintenance documents.
Mentor Designers with less experience on higher-level projects.
Qualifications Ahern will help make the most of your degree in a design/drafting-related program. Candidates with related design experience are welcome and may be given higher-level projects. AutoSprink experience preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to learn industry-specific software and codes are essential. You should thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, be committed to exceptional customer service, maintain cutting-edge industry knowledge, and execute tasks with a high level of detail.
