Primary Purpose The Data Governance Manager is responsible for the integrity of data inputs across our CRM (Salesforce) and OMS (Placements.IO) systems for AD Retail Media network. Data governance is essential to AD Retail Media network to ensure accurate data, regulate the Salesforce Order to Cash Cycle (from contact and account creation to opportunity inputs to invoice revisions), and to ensure reliable data for pipeline management, seller metrics, category sales and leadership reporting.

The Data Governance Manager will manage all aspects of Retail Media data governance and master data management within Salesforce in the Order to Cash Cycle. The manager develops the overall data governance strategy and creates and maintains policies, standards and best practices for data access, management, provisioning, and data integration. As a subject‑matter expert, the manager liaises with ADRM Leadership, analytics teams, product development teams, and marketing managers to realize strategic and tactical data goals while protecting data integrity and ethical use.

The Data Governance Manager also assists in pulling, organizing and displaying data in real time, enabling segmenting of critical metrics such as pipeline dashboards, sales performance, leaderboards, and win/loss leads. Proficiency across the Salesforce CRM platform is required.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in‑person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Core office locations are Salisbury, NC; Chicago, IL; Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME; Hyattsville, MD; and Mauldin, SC.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead implementation of best practices in data governance and master data management automation, establishing standard operating procedures for sales and account management.

Provide data governance and data quality support across Retail Media.

Protect sensitive data through policies, standards, governance metrics, processes, tools and data architecture.

Serve as a thought leader representing ADUSA and the expansion of the Salesforce practice across other functional areas.

Implement safeguards across all Retail Media data domains, including data cleansing and development of conversion objects for movement into test and production environments.

Own all touchpoints of the data (accuracy, integrity, etc.) through the Order to Cash Cycle.

Ensure accurate data entry into Salesforce by account management and sales teams.

Validate and audit specific Salesforce fields to prevent invoicing errors and meet reporting needs.

Audit created and locked opportunities from Account Management and IO record types.

Automate forecasting, revenue, recognition and reporting for the Account Management and Sales teams.

Prevent financial impacts such as backdating in Salesforce.

Partner with Sales Leadership to build and maintain the CRM database by creating new leads.

Build dashboards within CRM to assist in reporting across various metrics and teams.

Qualifications

Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform with experience supporting data governance and integrity.

Apply knowledge of systems, data and customer requirements to uncover problems and recommend solutions.

Proven knowledge of data integration tools and ability to manage complex business ecosystems and high volume data inputs.

Support users, manage data, maintain security standards and deliver actionable analytics.

Solid understanding of program and process development.

Determine long‑term directions, industry trends and relate them to organizational needs.

Initiate change and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Subject‑matter expert in Salesforce.

Strong experience with Placements.IO or similar planning tools.

Excellent interpersonal skills (internal & external partners & stakeholders).

Strong data management/expertise background.

Bachelor's Degree.

Salary ranges by region: ME/NC/PA/SC: $92,640 - $138,960 IL/MA/MD/NY: $106,480 - $159,720.

Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications, internal equity and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
