Position Summary Digital Marketing Manager

is responsible for owning and executing the digital marketing strategy across Oak View Group’s Mobile, Alabama properties. This role manages the venues’ full digital footprint—including email marketing, social media, websites, and digital content—to drive ticket sales, grow audience engagement, and strengthen brand presence. This role pays an annual salary of $55,000-$65,000.

About The Venue Oak View Group proudly operates three key entertainment venues in downtown Mobile: The new

Mobile Arena , the Mobile Convention Center, and the historic Saenger Theatre. Together, these venues host a diverse lineup of concerts, conferences, community celebrations, and cultural programming that welcome hundreds of thousands of guests each year and drive Mobile’s growing entertainment landscape.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the full digital footprint for OVG’s Mobile, Alabama properties, including email marketing, social media channels, venue websites, and other digital assets

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that support concerts, shows, and events, with a strong focus on driving ticket sales and audience growth

Lead email marketing strategy and execution through Ticketmaster CRM tools, including campaign creation, segmentation, and list growth initiatives

Build, deploy, and maintain email templates and automated campaigns to support on‑sale announcements, event reminders, and promotional initiatives

Manage organic social media strategy, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and real‑time engagement during key events

Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital platforms while tailoring messaging to specific venues, events, and audiences

Oversee venue website content management systems (CMS), ensuring accurate, timely updates for event listings, on‑sales, promotions, and venue information

Collaborate with promoters, tour marketers, and internal teams to ensure digital campaigns align with tour requirements and overall marketing strategies

Capture and curate engaging digital content throughout the year, including event‑day content, behind‑the‑scenes moments, and promotional assets

Analyze digital performance metrics across email, social, and web platforms, and adjust strategies based on insights, trends, and campaign performance

Collaborate with internal teams to support digital activations tied to promotional partnerships and venue initiatives

Research and stay current on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices within live entertainment and venue marketing

Support marketing team with artist on‑site experience through activations and creative interactions

Support cross‑promotional opportunities across Mobile properties as needed

Serve as on‑site marketing representative for designated events, supporting real‑time digital coverage and promotional needs

Assist with additional marketing projects and duties as assigned

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

4‑year degree preferred

Marketing experience—minimum of 3‑5 years in digital marketing, email marketing, or related roles

Experience in live entertainment, venue marketing, sports, or hospitality preferred

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Power user of social media tools with a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within online social networks

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experiences

Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, events and holidays as required

Minimal Travel ( Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays.

Frequent bending, lifting 15‑20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building, including inclines and stairs.

Computer And Technology Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint and MS Outlook)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications

Knowledge of website design

Knowledge of CRM software

Demonstrated skills in graphic design
