What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Design and execute a best-in-class parts distribution and inventory model to enhance service delivery and reduce costs
Determine optimal locations and number of distribution centers, and define inventory placement strategies
Collaborate with commercial teams to align sales strategies with inventory and kitting plans
Implement advanced forecasting tools to improve demand planning and drive digital transformation
Serve as the primary liaison for footprint optimization, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and measurable performance improvements
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree
8+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain strategy, or aftermarket parts operations
5+ years of experience leading teams and managing cross-functional footprint transformation efforts
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Master’s degree
Leadership experience in HVAC, industrial services, or distribution‑intensive businesses
Experience with advanced analytics and predictive models for inventory optimization
Familiarity with SIOP/S&OP processes and maintenance vs. repair parts segmentation
Certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, or Lean
