Reporting to the Marketing Projects Lead, this position will be responsible for overseeing & managing the execution of a various creative projects and assisting in overall internal/external Marketing Dept projects. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and excellent at juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Candidate must be located within commuting distance to Troy, Michigan, as we’ll need someone in office 2-3 days a week.**|** **WHAT YOU GET TO DO*** Operating as a player/coach driving projects and guiding team members to flawless execution, quality of service, and timely delivery of all necessary components and materials for each assignment.* Maximize brand and customer impact through close collaboration, ideation, and coordination with extended marketing team, commercial, and product teams, as needed.* Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders including the leadership team.* Oversee all aspects of project lifecycles from initial planning to completion, as well as follow-up, to ensure brand consistency and continuity.* Oversee and manage team workload and ensure that each project is clearly outlined with all reference materials included during the initial project kickoff.* Create and maintain project timelines, internal team check ins, and larger marketing team reviews to keep all campaigns on schedule.* Types of projects you’ll be managing include (but are not limited to) assets for internal and external digital, print, social media, PR, email, banners, and OOH assets, to align with brand strategy.* Having working knowledge of video and photography editing processes, and print production is a plus* Collaborate with the growth marketing team to build out campaign assets and assist in trafficking for larger paid media promotions.* Collaborate with organic social team to build out campaign assets on time and to spec.* Collaborate with in-house design team for various project needs spanning from renders to photo retouching requests.* Work closely with event team to prepare and manage internal asset creation, and support on various event coordination as applicable.* Provide guidance to internal teams and partners to ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and act as the go-to for problem-solving and delegation of creative projects, and larger marketing objectives, as needed.* Ensure brand messaging is compliant and coherent with brand book and within all supporting marketing materials.* Assist with marketing budgets, as needed.* Other duties to be assigned as needed.**|** **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM*** **Educational Background:** minimum of a college degree in a non-technical discipline preferred.* **Work Experience:** a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in creative project management or related role.* **Technical Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & experience with project management software (bonus if it’s Smartsheets).* Excellent communication skills because this role will be working with many internal stakeholders.* Comfortability giving presentations as well as speaking in front of larger groups.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multitasking, re-prioritizing projects, and communicating priority updates to stakeholders are key attributes needed.* Previous knowledge of or a desire to learn more about the automotive industry.* A positive attitude and energetic personality.* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.* A desire to be a part of an awesome team!At Slate, we’re fueled by grit, determination, and attention to detail.
