The Role:

We are looking for a hands‑on, curious, and fast‑learning builder to join the OnStar Agents & Automations Team. In this role, you will design and develop AI agents using

Microsoft Copilot Studio

and build workflow automations using

Power Automate . You’ll partner with teams across the business to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and help OnStar adopt AI in a practical, responsible, and measurable way. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to grow quickly in AI, automation, and digital operations.

Key Responsibilities 1) Build AI Agents (Copilot Studio)

Create and configure simple to moderately complex AI agents using

Microsoft Copilot Studio .

Build conversation flows, test agent responses, and ensure accuracy and clarity.

Connect agents to approved data sources and tools in partnership with senior builders.

2) Develop Automations (Power Automate)

Build workflow automations (cloud flows) to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.

Set up triggers, approvals, notifications, and system integrations using templates and best practices.

Maintain and update existing automations as processes evolve.

3) Support Reliability and Daily Operations

Monitor agent and automation performance; troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Document changes, update knowledge bases, and support version control.

Track usage, adoption, and basic performance metrics.

4) Collaborate with Stakeholders

Work with business partners to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.

Run requirement‑gathering discussions with guidance from senior team members.

Provide user training, job aids, and support for new tools and automations.

5) Learn, Experiment, and Grow

Stay current on new features in Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and AI tools.

Explore emerging platforms like Glean or Google AI as guided by the team.

Participate in internal learning sessions and help promote responsible AI adoption.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in automation, business operations, IT, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of

Power Automate ,

Power Platform , or similar no‑code/low‑code tools.

Ability to learn quickly using AI‑assisted tools ("vibe‑coder" mindset—comfortable exploring and experimenting).

Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts simply.

Detail‑oriented with the ability to troubleshoot issues logically.

Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to work in short, iterative development cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building workflow automations, bots, or chat‑based tools.

Familiarity with basic APIs, connectors, or data concepts (Dataverse, Databricks).

Exposure to conversational AI, prompt writing, or agent frameworks.

Ability to measure and communicate the time‑savings or impact of a solution.

Experience supporting change management, training, or user onboarding.

Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)

Build and deploy

5–8

small-to-medium automations or agents.

Deliver

2,000–5,000

annualized hours saved across supported teams.

Maintain high reliability (

95%+ uptime

) and responsiveness to support requests.

Achieve strong user satisfaction on supported workflows (

4.5/5 or higher

).

Demonstrate clear growth in AI/automation skills and readiness for more complex projects.
