Social Media & Content Creation Specialist
Reports to: Marketing and Education Outreach Director
General Statement of Role Works with the marketing and education outreach director to drive engagement, grow the foundation’s online community, and deliver impactful content that aligns with the foundation’s strategic initiatives. This role will lead day-to-day content development and platform management to increase awareness of industry careers and talent pipeline development opportunities with relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will leverage AI to bring an engaging and dynamic approach to content generation and implementation, using data-driven insights to connect with diverse and engaged audiences while maintaining a consistent and impactful online presence that reflects the vision and goals of the foundation.
Responsibilities
Develop and produce multimedia content including videos, photos, graphics, website and social content, and other digital materials. This includes all necessary videography, photography, design, animation and digital editing.
Champion scalable, AI‑enabled strategies that directly support foundation outcomes. Identify AI tools and social trends, bringing forward recommendations and strategies to achieve the foundation’s objectives and keep ICPF’s approach innovative and competitive.
Coordinate ICPF’s social media presence including overseeing social media accounts, staying current on trends across social media platforms (i.e. LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and executing a social media strategy through research benchmarking and messaging. This includes content creation (videos and images), populating a weekly calendar for review, posting via Hootsuite and continuing dialogue with educational institutions, associations, shareholders and consumers.
Leverage AI‑powered tools to analyze social media performance and optimize content strategy and engagement metrics. Gather actionable insights and analytics to adjust digital outreach strategies accordingly.
Strengthen ICPF’s brand and build industry awareness through relationships with followers, students, job seekers, educators, and partner organizations to grow ICPF’s online influence.
Manage digital asset libraries and organize content workflows for maximum efficiency.
Serve as the ICPF liaison at career fairs, student engagement opportunities, conferences and partner events to further the foundation’s reach.
Qualifications/Skills Ideal candidate is a creative, highly organized, self‑starter with the ability to create multimedia content and campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Two (2) years of experience in videography, social media, content creation, and digital marketing, is highly preferred.
Proficiency in video production and editing, including animation.
Experience creating multimedia content and campaigns for two‑way social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
Working knowledge of AI‑powered tools to support content development and monitor engagement trends among distinct audiences.
Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut, and other content design platforms. Strong eye for detail, typography, layout, and color.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to grammar, usage, style, and the ability to adapt tone for different stakeholder groups.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and deadline‑driven.
Open to feedback and highly collaborative.
Comfortable with a hybrid or work‑from‑home environment.
