The Disney Digital Entertainment team is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager, Strategy to support some of Disney Digital Entertainment’s most exciting licensed and vertical projects. This hands‑on marketer will help to deliver forward‑thinking campaigns across a variety of projects.
Putting players and storytelling at the heart of everything we do, the Disney Digital Entertainment marketing team partners with world‑class teams at Disney and work with top‑tier industry talent to execute compelling campaigns that captivate audiences globally.
As a creative marketer, you will help to develop new ideas, weave a compelling narrative, and guide and collaborate with partners to deliver truly breakthrough audience experiences.
You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager. This is a Full‑Time role.
What You Will Do
Strategic Marketing:
support the development and execution of GTM plans for assigned licensed and vertical projects. Work closely with the project marketing lead to ensure marketing strategies align with the greater brand vision, proactively supporting the development of innovative campaigns that are forward‑thinking and deliver measurable business impact.
Cross‑Company Collaboration:
assist in the development of compelling, performance‑driven integrated synergy marketing campaigns globally (including region specific activations) for assigned projects that contribute positively to the brand. Partner with key internal stakeholders (including PR, Synergy, Studio Marketing and other Marketing Centers of Excellence across the company and more) to align marketing efforts and maximize impact.
Relationship Building & Partner Engagement:
serve as a brand and partner champion, cultivating and strengthening positive, outcome‑oriented relationships with business partner marketing leads, assisting to build mutually beneficial and unique campaigns. Foster an environment of trust and transparency, effectively managing ongoing day‑to‑day partner communications to ensure alignment and maximize shared success.
Data‑Driven Insights:
leverage market research, intelligence, and analytics to help drive the thoughtful development of marketing plans. Collaborate with the project marketing lead to establish KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness, drive effective decision‑making and advocate for testing new approaches.
Communication & Reporting:
support project marketing lead in developing insightful marketing updates, postmortems, and performance reports tailored for a variety of audiences including executives, key stakeholders, and partners.
Marketing Operations:
support day‑to‑day marketing operations and functions including managing master calendars, agendas, marketing material submissions, and project management tools.
Required Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of experience in Marketing or Integrated Planning, combined with 1+ years of working in gaming industry strongly preferred.
Goal‑oriented strategic, creative, and proactive problem solver with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Demonstrated ability as a brand storyteller — taking ownership beyond stewardship to create transformative audience experiences.
Strong interpersonal skills with a high‑level of corporate professionalism and organizational savvy.
Excellent analytical skills — ability to translate qualitative/quantitative data into actionable insights that get results.
Strong communication skills, with a track record of supporting marketing teams to execute creative briefs, GTM plans, and postmortems that deliver clear business results.
Deep knowledge of the entertainment landscape, pop culture, social media, and gaming media trends.
Creative thinker who is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives on bringing new ideas to life.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $87,100 to $116,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
