Job Summary The Documentation Analyst will join NextGen Equipment Finance’s team to assist with lease and funding contract generation and other operational functions from the time lease documents are requested until funding occurs. The Documentation Analyst maintains the integrity of working documents, serves as a key auditor of new lease applications before they are booked, and prepares funding packages for third‑party financing partners. In this role, the individual will work closely with the operations, syndications, and sales departments. This role provides ample opportunity for continued learning and growth within our quickly growing company. The Documentation Analyst reports to NextGen Equipment Finance’s EVP of Operations and primarily works remotely; this is an exempt position.
Key Job Responsibilities
Generate live lease documentation quickly and accurately
Audit data, attachments, and Document Request Forms submitted through front‑end system
Determine sales tax treatment on a contract‑by‑contract basis
Prepare funding packages for sale to lenders
File UCC‑1 and UCC‑3 financing statements
Update document templates upon request
Receive and review executed documentation packages for accuracy within internal credit, legal and documentation guidelines
Compile funding checklist to advise sales and operations departments
Submit leases for transmission and booking in back‑end system
Manage insurance portfolio and ensure compliance
Set up and issue live documents through electronic signature platform
Diligently follow up on post‑closing items
Assist with submission of title/registration requests to third‑party vehicle title processor

Requirements
Detail‑oriented individual with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, fast‑paced, team environment
Well‑rounded understanding of the leasing life cycle and funding requirements
Effective decision‑making aptitude and sound judgment
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
2–5 years of experience; preference for candidates with experience in the equipment finance industry and/or contract generation
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
