Lucid Management and Capital Partners LP
Lucid is seeking a high-caliber
Fixed Income
Sales & Product Solutions Specialist
to support the firm’s institutional growth efforts. This role is designed for a
high impact go-getter —someone with the analytical rigor to understand fixed income strategies at a deep level and the judgment and communication skills to translate that insight into compelling, client-ready materials.
The Specialist will play a critical role in shaping how Lucid presents its investment strategies to sophisticated institutional investors, working closely with Portfolio Management, Sales, and Relationship Management. This is a
front-office role
with meaningful exposure to investors, investment decision-makers, and senior leadership.
For the right individual, this position offers a differentiated career path with progression toward
Sales / Relationship Management and/or Product Development.
Lucid Management and Capital Partners is a growing and innovative investment management platform overseeing more than $4 billion in assets.
Key Responsibilities Product & Investment Analysis
Develop and own investor-facing analysis including performance attribution, risk analytics, benchmark and peer comparisons, and customized portfolio reporting.
Partner with Portfolio Management to translate investment philosophy, positioning, and results into clear, credible product narratives.
Help design and institutionalize repeatable analytical frameworks that elevate the consistency and quality of client reporting.
Create and refine
institutional-grade pitch decks and marketing materials
tailored to specific investor segments (Insurance Companies, Endowments, State Plans, Asset Managers).
Customize materials for live fundraising efforts and ongoing relationship management, incorporating investor-specific objectives and constraints.
Participate in investor meetings and due diligence discussions, supporting dialogue with thoughtful analysis and clear communication.
Incorporate investor feedback into ongoing refinement of product positioning and materials.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as a bridge between Sales, Relationship Management, Portfolio Management, and Operations to ensure investor materials are accurate, timely, and aligned with investment reality.
Identify opportunities to improve how Lucid communicates its strategies, performance, and risk profile to the market.
Professional Development
Build a deep understanding of Lucid’s investment strategies, client base, and institutional sales process.
Take on increasing responsibility for product positioning and investor communication as experience grows.
Develop toward a senior role in
Sales / Relationship Management or Product Development , based on performance, aptitude, and firm needs.
Qualifications Required
1–3 years of experience in fixed income asset management, investment banking, fixed income sales or structuring, consulting, product, or a related analytical role.
Strong understanding of fixed income markets, portfolio construction, performance analysis, and risk metrics.
Bachelor’s degree with a strong analytical focus.
Demonstrated ability to produce
clear, polished investor-facing materials
for sophisticated audiences.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred
Experience supporting institutional investors or client-facing investment teams.
Familiarity with performance systems, reporting tools, Tableau, SQL, or CRM platforms.
Progress toward or interest in professional credentials (e.g., CFA) is viewed positively.
Who You Are
You combine intellectual rigor with strong commercial instincts.
You enjoy mastering complex investment strategies and explaining them clearly.
You are detail-oriented but understand how to prioritize what matters to investors.
You take ownership, operate with discretion, and hold yourself to a high standard.
You thrive in a lean, high-expectation environment and value craftsmanship in your work.
What This Role Is — and Is Not
This is a
front-office, client-facing role , not a pure analytical or back-office position.
Success in this role requires both analytical excellence and strong communication skills.
At Lucid, we invest in our people.
This role is not just a job—it’s the start of a career path. We’re committed to helping you achieve your goals while providing the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into a key contributor to our success.
