Intuit, the global financial technology platform behind TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, is seeking a Public Affairs Manager to join our Global Corporate Affairs & Public Policy (GCAPP) team, with a focus on paid media and creative strategy.

This role will support the planning and execution of public affairs campaigns that elevate the voice of Intuit’s customers and advance Intuit policy priorities. The role will work closely with internal partners and external agencies to deliver compelling paid media, creative assets, and data-driven insights—while owning day-to-day execution and project management across multiple campaigns.

This position will serve as part of the GCAPP team, reporting to the Director of Global Public Affairs and working directly with colleagues on our Legal, Compliance, and Policy, Consumer Platform, and Platform teams, among others.

The Intuit GCAPP team elevates the voice of Intuit’s customers to policymakers globally. The Public Affairs team sits within GCAPP and is responsible for planning and executing public affairs campaigns to raise Intuit brand awareness to policymakers, as well as to raise awareness of Intuit’s policy issues to policymakers on the state, federal, and global level.

This is a hybrid role with on-site expectations of 3 days per week in our Washington, DC office. We prioritize being together to promote connection and belonging, creativity and innovation, as well as speed, agility, and productivity to accelerate getting work done.

Responsibilities Paid media & creative execution

Support the development and execution of paid media strategies by market to build Intuit brand awareness and advance public policy priorities to policymakers.

Help manage external creative, PR, and media buying agencies to produce end-to-end campaign plans and assets, informed by research, audience insights, and performance data.

Help develop creative briefs, review paid media plans, and provide feedback on creative assets and written content (e.g., digital ads, blogs, landing pages).

Bring a creative mindset into all campaigns and projects

Campaign & project management

Help support day-to-day management of multiple public affairs campaigns and initiatives, from kickoff through execution and optimization.

Manage timelines, budgets, scopes, and deliverables, proactively identifying risks and solutions.

Support coordination of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clear communication of goals, progress, and dependencies.

Support planning and execution of virtual and in-person public affairs events, including those with media or policy partners.

Data, reporting & optimization

Use data to evaluate campaign performance, surface opportunities, and recommend optimizations.

Develop reports and insights for internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes, and workflows across paid media and creative operations.

Cross-functional collaboration

Partner closely with colleagues across GCAPP, Legal, Compliance, and Policy, Consumer Platform, and platform teams to support federal, state, and local public affairs efforts.

Assist in amplifying Intuit’s messaging around key policy areas

Manage, maintain, and refresh content for Intuit Global Corporate Affairs web properties to help feed into paid media campaigns.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5-10 combined years of experience on political campaigns, in government work, or in public affairs and/or public relations with a major corporation, an agency and/or trade association.

Familiarity with digital advertising, creative development, or media buying platforms; preferred experience managing paid media or creative campaigns in the policy space, including working with external agencies or consultants.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of end-to-end processes in a self-directed way

Experience developing reports or dashboards and translating data into clear insights for senior stakeholders.

Preferred experience in events or experiential marketing.

Proficiency using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support research, drafting, or workflow efficiency preferred

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Washington DC: $124,000 - $168,000
