Your team You’ll be working in the Global Markets Derivatives and Solutions COO team in New York. We support the principal trading business globally with team members in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney, across various asset classes such as equities, fixed incomes and derivatives. As part of the IB COO Function, your team is responsible for a broad portfolio of activities centered around acting as a strategic enabler to the business, overseeing the integrity of the front to back control environment, and managing the change portfolio. Your expertise ideally 2+ years background or direct experience in the FX and/or Rates markets knowledge of FX products and Rates Products, front to back processes, and dependencies in a large trading business including electronic trading ability to communicate and work with stakeholders and team members across all areas of the bank and of various levels of seniority good at building networks of contacts across the business, logistics and control functions ability to understand new issues and processes quickly and determine priorities and solutions based on business need and benefit excellent analytical and presentation skills; proficiency in excel, power point comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment focus, drive and commitment, and track record in getting jobs done on time and to a high standard (a commercial ‘can-do’ approach) able to remain calm under pressure and cope with difficult and changing scenarios About us UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
