Marketing Assistant – Wagner College Location: 1 Campus Road, Staten Island, NY 10301. Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full‑time Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Pay range: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Job Summary Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food service programs and strategic promotion of campus dining programs, services, and events.

Responsibilities

Support the strategic promotion of campus dining programs, services, and events.

Develop and execute marketing campaigns that enhance student engagement, drive participation, and strengthen the dining brand across the institution.

Create digital and print content, manage social media channels, coordinate on‑campus promotions, and collaborate with dining leadership to communicate menus, meal plans, sustainability initiatives, and special events.

Conduct daily “table touches” with students and guests and analyze participation trends and student feedback to inform marketing strategies.

Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client‑centric manner.

Maintain confidential personnel files and assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.

Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.

Complete and maintain accurate records of students eligible for free and reduced‑priced lunches, enter weekly cash sales and meal counts, perform daily bank deposit reconciliation, and process vendor invoices and statements.

Prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement, assist in preparation of end‑of‑month financial reports, and attend in‑service and/or safety meetings as required.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform duties safely.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience with social media, Sprout Social, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
