Fire Sprinkler Designer
to develop high-quality fire sprinkler system layouts for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. You’ll work closely with our project managers, superintendents, and sales representatives to bring each project to life safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years industry experience
in sprinkler design.
NICET Certification (any level, prefer NICET II+).
BIM experience using Revit / coordination tools.
Proficiency with Design packages (AutoSPRINK / HydraCAD).
Strong understanding of NFPA standards.
Experience reviewing and coordinating construction drawings.
Skilled in hydraulic calculations and technical problem-solving.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design fire sprinkler systems using
AutoSprink
or similar software
Revit .
Review and interpret construction contract documents.
Coordinate closely with General Contractors, sub-contractors, and owners to collect all design input.
Create Fire Sprinkler Shop Drawings
Create detailed stock lists for materials needed across all project phases.
Perform
hydraulic calculations
for accurate system performance.
Maintain historical project design records for reference and quality assurance.
Assist with Engineering RFI
Stay compliant with
NFPA codes
and other applicable standards.
Perform and Assist with Hydrant Flow Test
Submitting required construction documents to obtain permit.
