
Position Overview
We’re a leading global fitness company seeking a skilled Mid-Level Video Editor to join our internal marketing team. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Mid-Level Video Editor will independently edit and produce high-quality motion-based video content that supports brand storytelling and marketing campaigns.
This role requires strong editing skills, a solid grasp of motion graphics, and the ability to manage projects from concept to delivery with limited oversight. The ideal candidate has several years of professional experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is ready to contribute creatively while continuing to sharpen their craft.
Responsibilities Editing & Production:
Independently edit and deliver high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and internet communications
Create intermediate-level motion graphics and apply visual FX to enhance video storytelling
Collaboration:
Work closely with creative team members, designers, and marketing managers to translate creative concepts into compelling video deliverables
Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and creative development
Project Management:
Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining brand standards
Organize and maintain project files and workflows
Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Professional Development:
Stay current on editing software, digital media trends, and creative best practices
Seek opportunities to grow technical and storytelling skills
Marginal Job Functions:
Provide support during pre‑production and on‑set when required
Assist with special projects and cross‑functional creative initiatives
Other projects as needed.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Mass Communication, Visual Media, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in video production or editing environments
Proficient knowledge of video production procedures, practices, and terminology
Proficient in non-linear editing with demonstrated ability to create motion graphics and apply visual FX
Other Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop)
Familiarity with editing/creating short‑form and mobile‑first social content (Reels, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective verbal and written communication skills
A portfolio or reel demonstrating editing and storytelling skills.
A valid driver’s license is required for local travel
