LevFin Insights is currently seeking an Associate/News Associate to cover private credit based out of our New York office.

About the Team

The successful applicant will be joining LevFin Insight's growing private credit team, which covers all aspects of the direct lending and private corporate credit market, including deals, fundraises, people moves and features/insight pieces.

How You'll Make an Impact: Produce real-time private credit stories throughout each market session Identify market trends and write timely insight pieces for a sophisticated audience of banks, direct lenders/asset managers and advisory firms Cultivate and maintain a network of sources that include direct lenders, asset managers, lawyers, advisors and other similar market actors Represent LFI at industry events and personal meetings Be a team player - be willing to provide editorial support when needed, particularly with leveraged loan team, and work toward team goals and development of LFI's private credit platform You May be a Good Fit:

At least one year covering financial markets with a strong writing ability and motivation to write about private credit when the asset class is at an inflection point A proficiency, or at least familiarity, with financial data Strong accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and produce insightful stories A drive to break news in a fast-paced environment What Would Make You Stand Out:

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $100,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
