Position Overview Ps2g is seeking a
Senior Solutions Sales Representative
to lead solution-based selling efforts across the State of Illinois. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through
direct sales, OEM alignment, and strategic partnerships , while supporting Ps2g’s presence in both the
Greater Chicago market and the Illinois State Capitol (Springfield) .
This is a
senior, consultative sales role
requiring the ability to sell complex technology solutions, navigate enterprise and government buying environments, and collaborate closely with OEMs, strategic partners, and internal delivery teams. The ideal candidate is a
self-starter , trusted advisor, and relationship builder who can comfortably operate across all three Ps2g vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow Ps2g’s sales pipeline across Illinois, covering:
Public Sector
(State of Illinois, agencies, and TOPS2 resource placements)
Healthcare
(Managed Care Organizations and healthcare systems including Aetna, Meridian, and HCSC)
Energy & Utilities
(Investor-owned utilities including Exelon and related affiliates)
Drive solution-based selling focused on
technology services, professional services, and OEM-enabled solutions
Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities while expanding existing client relationships
Develop account strategies aligned to client priorities, regulatory environments, and funding mechanisms
OEM & Strategic Partner Engagement
Strengthen and expand Ps2g’s OEM relationships, including:
Elastic
IBM
CDW
Oracle Cloud
Sas ( Statical Analytical System)
XeroxSAP
Act as a trusted field partner to Ps2g’s strategic alliances, including:
IBM
CGI
Accenture
BCG
Coordinate joint pursuits, partner-led opportunities, and co-selling motions
Represent Ps2g professionally with partner sales teams, solution architects, and leadership
Territory & Market Coverage
Provide full coverage across the State of Illinois with a strong presence in:
Chicago metropolitan area
Springfield / State Capitol
Leverage Ps2g’s offices in Chicago and Springfield to support client engagement, meetings, and events
Build and maintain relationships with agency leaders, procurement teams, executives, and influencers
Internal Collaboration & Culture
Collaborate closely with Ps2g’s delivery, technical, and executive leadership
Support proposal development, RFP responses, and solution scoping
Uphold Ps2g’s corporate culture of accountability, excellence, and community impact
Serve as a senior representative of the Ps2g brand in the Illinois market
Qualifications & Experience Required
7+ years of experience selling
technology solutions or professional services
Proven success in
solution-based selling
(not transactional sales)
Experience selling into
at least one
of Ps2g’s verticals:
Public Sector
Energy & Utilities
Strong understanding of complex buying cycles, stakeholder management, and procurement processes
Demonstrated ability to work independently and build a territory from relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level engagement skills
Willingness to travel throughout Illinois as needed
Preferred
Experience selling with or alongside OEMs and global consulting firms
Familiarity with state government contracting vehicles (including resource placement models)
Background working with regulated industries or government agencies
Existing relationships within Illinois public sector, healthcare, or utility markets
