Apartment Leasing Consultant
Immediate opening for an experienced Apartment Leasing Consultant at an apartment community in Erie, PA. This full-time role is ideal for a leasing professional with 1+ year of onsite experience who enjoys working directly with residents and prospects. The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in driving occupancy, maintaining resident satisfaction, and ensuring a positive leasing experience from first contact through move-in. Responsibilities: Leasing & Resident Relations Conduct apartment and community tours Respond to leasing inquiries in person, by phone, and online Follow up with prospects and prepare lease documentation Process applications, collect deposits, and coordinate move-ins Assist with rent collection, renewals, and resident communications Support resident needs and help maintain strong tenant relationships Marketing & Outreach Assist with marketing initiatives and outreach efforts Monitor competitor properties and local market conditions Support online listings, social media updates, and promotional activities Administrative & Operational Support Maintain accurate leasing files and resident documentation Track vacancies, move-ins, move-outs, and service requests Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and ADA guidelines Report property issues to management and assist with inspections Requirements Minimum of 1 year of onsite apartment leasing experience (required) Strong customer service and communication skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer tools (email, Excel); property management software experience is a plus Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass a
