
The Products team is responsible for developing and delivering the future of payments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our Product deployments are centered around growing our core business and deploying our digital solutions.
The Director of Product Strategy is a highly visible role for the LAC products organization ensuring planning, strategy creation, and processes are in place for the effective delivery of critical, customer facing and internal projects. The individual will be the lead support in creating our Product Strategies and Planning activities for our product deployments collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful delivery of our key initiatives.
The role will report directly to the Head of GTM for Regional Products & Solutions and Value-Added Services.
Responsibilities
- Create product strategies for new and existing product deployments.
- Lead and create the product’s organization multiyear plans collaborating with the LAC Products leadership and global product stakeholders.
- Conduct deep market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage high visibility product initiatives and will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support the creation of multiple client facing and internal presentations.
- Formulate business cases for new investment initiatives. Obtain early buy-in for each business case with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Support the creation of the product yearly budget in conjunction with our Finance Business Partner and Product teams.
- Lead select ad hoc initiatives for the product function.
- Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously with a high degree of competency.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Basic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred.
- Visa and financial/payment industry knowledge as well as Money Movement market experience will be considered a strong asset but is not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines and frequent changes.
- Excellent Microsoft skills across Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
