Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Engineering Designer II to join the Civil/Site team in our Lansing, MI office! Requires travel 10% of the time to client sites throughout the state of MI.
Responsibilities
Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design.
Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same.
Work with senior engineers to create project designs.
Create models, including 3D models.
Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer using AutCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS and Water CAD.
