As the
Health & Benefits Consultan t, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of employee benefits for our clients. In this dynamic position, you will perform in-depth analyses for larger, complex clients, collaborating with Mercer subject matter experts to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of quality and accuracy in all deliverables. Responsibilities
Provide financial, contract, and administrative analysis while managing portions of client projects and addressing ad hoc operational requets
Support financial review and funding analysis, including underwriting, data analytics, and collaboration with actuari
Contribute to client strategy by interpreting benchmark data, presenting insights, and ensuring plan and program changes align with client objectiv
Manage project quality, timelines, and deliverables; delegate to and review work from junior team membe
Coordinate internal specialty resources to ensure deliverables meet client goals, deadlines, and professional standar
Lead preparation, peer review, and delivery of clear, concise, client-facing communications and repor
Work directly with clients to manage the request for proposal (RFP) process with health insurance carriers and internal analys
Establish and manage carrier and vendor relationships to support benefits administration, compliance, and plan implementati
What you need to have
ree2+ years of experience in health & benefits, preferably in a consulting environm
entExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize by level of urge
ncyStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication ski
