
Benefits Account Manager Position
Our client, a company providing a comprehensive package of employee benefits, is currently seeking a capable and dedicated Benefits Account Manager. The role includes a fully employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage package for the employee, their spouse, and dependents, as well as 401k benefits with a match.
As a key member of their team, the Benefits Account Manager will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of all benefits-related processes and services. This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic work environment that values work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Manage a book of business ranging from 50 to 400 lives
Set pre-renewal meetings and facilitate plan reviews
Consult on potential plan changes
Handle quotes and estimates, carrier negotiations, and benefits administration
Oversee open enrollments and conduct presentations
Ensure the accuracy of work done by third parties (e.g., HRIS data entry and rates)
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience independently managing Employee Benefits Accounts with an Independent Agency
Residency in the Seattle area, as this is a hybrid role with both in-office and remote work
Confidence in client-facing situations along with a strong ability in consulting, managing renewals, and overseeing projects
