Why is this position open: New position - The Senior Database Administrator position will support the application migration and modernization as well as day-to-day support of existing systems.
Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed.- Fully Remote Required Skills A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. 5+ years’ experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA. 1+ year of migrating application database between versions and platforms. 5+ years Backup/Restore experience. Experience managing roles, permissions, and encryption. Preferred Skills Implementing Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
