Lead Marine is currently looking to hire 2nd class & Journeymen Sheetmetal Installers & Fabricators for the Shipyard Industry in San Diego. This Sheetmetal job will be working on Naval Bases & Shipyards on 1st (6:00am-2:30pm) or 2nd (3:00pm-11:30pm) shift and overtime as needed. DBIDs badge in hand is a plus. Responsibilities
Rip out old sheet metal such as bunks, tables, benches.
Repair and install sheet metal ventilation systems, etc.
Work with apprentices and helpers to install new sheet metal parts.
Make sure work sites and areas are clean of construction debris.
Requirements
At least 3 years of construction, sheet metal or shipyard experience.
Willing and able to work as a team.
Must obtain Naval Base Clearance.
Knowledge of various types of metals and sizes.
Basic tools of the sheet metal trade.
