Fueling your passion As a Field Specialist, you demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a proactive approach to field operations, equipment monitoring, and maintenance activities. You perform field testing, support product application, manage inventory practices, and participate in structured training through the LEAD - Field Specialist Development Program. You work collaboratively under operational timelines while strictly following HSE, compliance, and quality standards. You help ensure smooth, safe, and reliable field operations that align with Baker Hughes' values and customer expectations.
As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Monitoring application and operating parameters to ensure performance and reliability
Conducting field and product tests, documenting results, and communicating findings to supervisors
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as directed
Executing product inventory management tasks, including reporting, ordering, and material handling
Developing foundational knowledge of industrial processes, product lines, and operational workflows
Completing required training within the LEAD - Field Specialist Development Program, including HS&E, compliance, oilfield fundamentals, and product line tools
Conducting all work in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Core Values
To be successful in this role you will:
Preferably have a Two-year Technical College Degree or equivalent
Have knowledge of chemistry, materials, process flows, or petroleum engineering concepts
Possess general understanding of basic industrial processes and business principles
Be able to think critically, solve problems, and collaborate effectively across teams
Be capable of working in an industrial environment, including exposure to weather conditions, heights, and use of PPE
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

Field based schedules aligned with operational needs
Overtime or extended hours depending on activity levels
