
Campground Customer Service Representative

Under minimal supervision, ensures quality service by conducting Guest Services operations at the Clear Creek RV Park. Position is required to work various shifts that will include evenings, holidays and weekends. Primary shifts are weekdays (Wednesdays and Thursdays) with steady hours of approximately 17 hours per week, or 7 hours per shift. Please note, this is NOT a camp host or work camp position.
Assist guests with check-in, registration, and presentation of park/pet rules. Support guests with directions and activity ideas.
Place messages for campground personnel on reminder forms to assure completion of tasks.
Maintain literature racks inside and outside office; maintain filing system and general office appearance.
Run daily opening reports, verify guest checkouts and amounts due; run daily closing reports to ensure balance of books.
Maintain a clear understanding of the online reservations system and website to provide assistance to potential guests as needed. Complete phone-in reservations as needed.
Enforce, in a pleasant manner, park rules and policies.
Collect money from washers/dryers when needed.
Complete grounds keeping and maintenance as requested (i.e. trash pick-up/removal, flower bed upkeep, sweep and shovel main office deck, etc.).
Make suggestions for improvements as appropriate.
May be assigned to the Golden Community Center for extra hours/substitute as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred. Knowledge of RecTrac software helpful.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CPR, First Aid, and AED certification desired or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to utilize tact when enforcing facility policies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of personal computer, cash handling, and keyboard. Ability to complete tasks simultaneously.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
