Overview
The Director of the Center for Sales Excellence provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Center, oversees curriculum for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, fosters alumni and industry connections, and partners with local, regional, and national companies to create mentoring, coaching, hiring, and experiential learning opportunities.
Appointment: 1.0 FTE split as .40 Director (administration) and .60 Faculty.

Responsibilities The Director will:
Lead the Center and oversee its curriculum.
Collaborate with alumni and local business professionals to create mentoring and coaching opportunities.
Partner with companies to hire trained sales graduates, support faculty research, and provide experiential learning opportunities.
Support sales education and engagement with industry partners, aligning initiatives with the College of Business mission and goals.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Master’s or terminal degree or appropriate academic credentials in a relevant field.
Current faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with sales education or professional sales programs.
Experience in sales in business, government, or nonprofit enterprises.
Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating an academic center or program.
Demonstrated success in industry engagement or partnership development.
Familiarity with College of Business programs and strategic priorities.
