Coordinate Safe, Structured Housing That Supports Recovery
At State of the Heart Recovery, the Housing Coordinator plays a key operational role in maintaining safe, organized, and recovery-focused residential housing environments. This position supports daily housing operations across multiple levels of care, ensuring unit readiness, client movement coordination, safety compliance, and responsive collaboration with clinical and housing leadership.
The Housing Coordinator ensures housing operations align with trauma-informed care principles, program expectations, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within a behavioral health and recovery setting.
What You Will Do
Conduct routine unit checks to assess cleanliness, safety, and readiness across assigned housing locations
Coordinate and support client level-up and level-down transitions, ensuring respectful and timely movement between housing levels
Prepare and clear housing units for admissions, discharges, detox transitions, and emergency removals
Perform minor housing upkeep tasks and promptly report maintenance concerns
Assist with furniture moves, housing setup and breakdown, and donation intake and distribution
Conduct cleaning between client transitions to maintain readiness and infection-control standards
Provide supply purchasing and delivery support for hygiene items, linens, and essential housing needs
Support missing-client response protocols through verification and timely reporting
Complete and submit urine analysis documentation in accordance with program procedures
Document housing activities, inspections, client movement, and incidents accurately and timely
Provide individualized case support and psychosocial assistance in community settings when assigned
Maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
Support emergency response activities within housing environments
Participate in housing workflow improvements and quality initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned to support housing operations

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid Community Support Worker Certification within the State of New Mexico required
Valid New Mexico driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel between housing sites
Minimum of one year of experience in housing operations, facilities support, case support, or a related role preferred
Experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, residential treatment, or supportive housing environments preferred
Basic computer proficiency for documentation, reporting, and communication
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage changing priorities
Sound judgment and ability to maintain professionalism in a recovery-focused environment
