As OakNorth continues to scale its lending business in the US, clear positioning, compellingpropositionsand strong commercial execution are critical. Marketing playsa central rolein shaping how our products are understood in the market, how we go to market, and how we enable our commercial teams to win larger, more complex deals.

We’relooking for a Product marketing manager toenable our sales team, strengthen our positioning,growand commercialise our lending propositions in the US market.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial and marketing, it involvessales enablementand organizing cross-channel campaigns, collaborating with the larger marketing team. The role involvesowning product positioning,coming up withindustry & customer stories & narratives, shaping go-to-marketstrategyand designing campaigns that support growth, while ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the messaging,narrativesand materials they need to convert effectively.

Success islargely definedby the improvement of sales teams’ metrics and our ability to get demand from new types of clients & segments.

You’llcollaborate closely withthe Debt Finance team in the US,as well as the skilled Marketing team within the UK,to turn complex lending propositions into clear, compelling stories that resonate in the market and perform in sales conversations. Strong stakeholder management will be essential to ensure alignment and impact.

What you’ll do

Develop clear, differentiated positioning, value propositions and USPs for specific segments grounded in customer needs, market insight and competitive context

Come up and execute cross-channel campaigns to generate demand or engage the existing customers / prospects

Design sales-led campaigns and plays that support outbound activity, account targeting and large deal conversion

Create and maintain high-impact sales and marketing collateral, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards and sector-specific materials

Partner closely with Commercial teams to understand objections, friction points and conversion challenges, and address them through stronger positioning and messaging

Support sales teams in unlocking larger opportunities through clearer narratives, proof points and tailored stories

Work with Growth, paid and content specialists to define what should be communicated, to whom and why, while allowing specialists to own channel execution

Collaborate with Commercial, Credit, Compliance and Legal to ensure messaging is accurate, credible and commercially effective

Continuously refine positioning, campaigns and enablement based on performance data, market trends and sales feedback

Provide on-the-ground support to the events team, contributing to the planning and delivery of client events and conferences

What we’re looking for

5+years experiencein product marketing or commercial marketing within B2B, fintech or financial services

Demonstrated ability to own positioning,messagingand go-to-market strategy for complex products

Experience working closely with sales teams to support commercial performance

Confidence shaping campaign strategy and marketing narratives, even when execution sits with others

Ability to translate complex products and markets into clear, compelling stories

Strategic thinker with strong commercial judgement

Comfortable working close to revenue and commercial decision-making

Strong stakeholder management across Sales, Product, Growth and Compliance
