Associate Director of Real Estate Investments
to join our dynamic team.
We are a large buyer of homes for renovation and resale nationwide. Our business model revitalizes existing residential properties to provide affordable, renovated homes for new homeowners. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact within the market for all real estate acquisition activities. We convert advertising into buying single-family homes in any condition, as-is, for cash from motivated sellers, while providing fast and friendly service.
The
Associate Director
drives their team’s production across multiple channels to deliver sustained revenue and margin performance. The
Associate Director
has the critical role of leading market teams responsible for identifying, evaluating, securing, renovating and selling real estate investment opportunities. Within their markets they will also provide continuous business development for acquisitions, construction and dispositions with the local real estate investment community including real estate agents, brokers, wholesalers, contractors, title companies and more. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience successfully working with homeowners and industry professionals to acquire, renovate and sell single-family residential real estate.
This person will have a successful history of setting and exceeding team production goals and acquiring, renovating and disposing profitable assets with a true business leadership mindset, driving results through their team’s effective business development, project management, sales management and relationship building. Success in this role requires the ability to instill team discipline and accountability.
The salary range for this role is $75k to $110k plus a performance-based year-end bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills.
This position also offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off benefits. This is a remote role requiring a home office and the ability for frequent travel to markets and company meetings.
Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Leadership
Drive market-level financial performance, including revenue, margin, and ROI targets.
Develop and execute growth strategies informed by data, market trends, and performance insights.
Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to increase profitability.
Lead a team responsible for sourcing, analyzing and securing contracts on potential transaction leads as well as underwriting, monitoring and making decisions to acquire, reposition/renovate and sell single family real estate across the United States
Team Leadership & Accountability
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing investment team with clear KPIs and accountability standards.
Instill team discipline and accountability
Recruit and onboard talent to support expansion and maintain operational excellence.
Align acquisitions, construction, and dispositions teams to execute full-cycle investment plans.
Oversee and put processes in place to monitor group KPIs, set goals and motivate team members to exceed targets in acquisition pipeline performance, lead generation, the management of leads, calls, and appointments, construction management and home sales
Cross-Functional & Portfolio Oversight
Oversee the full investment lifecycle across multiple markets, ensuring consistency and quality.
Partner with construction, asset management, brokerage, and finance to optimize deal flow and outcomes.
Monitor market performance and adjust strategy to maximize returns.
Direct the creation and presentation of investment case studies of acquisitions, renovations and sales. Work on additional new business initiatives across operating segments as needed
Distill complex and diverse information from multiple data sources (such as our customer relationship management (CRM), asset/property management and construction information systems as well as brokerage and title partners) in order to properly direct and coach investment team on the real estate market, our performance trends and other business intelligence
Analysis & Decision-Making
Review underwriting assumptions, renovation scopes, and disposition strategies to ensure accuracy and profitability.
Utilize data and analytics to guide investment decisions, set benchmarks, and evaluate portfolio performance.
External Relationships & Deal Sourcing
Build strong relationships with agents, wholesalers, contractors, and investment partners to expand deal pipeline.
Represent the company within the real estate community and negotiate high-impact transactions.
Operational Excellence
Implement scalable processes that improve lead conversion, reduce cycle time, and enhance unit economics.
Ensure CRM and reporting systems provide accurate, real-time visibility into performance.
Maintain compliance with investment criteria, internal controls, and company policies.
Qualifications
Residential “fix and flip” real estate investment experience required
Understanding of real estate risk with ability to apply to local markets required
Motivated self-starter; creative problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships
High level of integrity and sound business judgement
Highly organized with strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects
Highly communicative and responsive; Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, partners and vendors
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, power point and outlook
Proven strategic agility and stretch; can easily assume wider and more complex tasks and initiativesin a dynamic and fast-paced organization
Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently; open to direction and collaborative work style
Bachelor’s degree required, and advanced degree preferred
7+ years of experience in related fields such as investment analysis, real estate acquisitions or dispositions, real estate investment brokerage
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
Real Estate License preferred but not required
