Sales Operations Analyst – Multiple Locations (Job #26-155) Job Description Job Summary Join Mercury Systems, an industry leader dedicated to delivering trusted, secure, mission‑critical technologies that advance the aerospace and defense landscape. We're seeking a Sales Operations Analyst III to coordinate with Sales in generating customer quotes, preparing proposals and booking orders, and maintaining short‑ and long‑range sales forecasts. This position is fast‑paced, with exposure to multiple business processes with growth potential.

Job Responsibilities

Reconcile sales activity, including Bookings and Orders, across internal systems

Respond to RFQs (Requests for Quote) with accuracy and timeliness

Support the creation of Opportunities for Proposals, Design Wins/Starts, and Orders

Process customer purchase orders, including new orders and change orders

Partner with Business Development and Product Sales teams to support forecasting efforts

Develop Salesforce reports and maintain dashboards to ensure data visibility and accuracy

Respond to and qualify marketing‑generated leads

Prepare, run, and distribute weekly reports for management and sales teams

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and customers

Perform general data entry and manage sales‑related data across systems

Assist in managing and optimizing various sales tools, applications, and platforms

Analyze, cleanse, and validate large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization

Support the Sales Operations Manager with database enhancement initiatives, including proactive CRM data hygiene monitoring and enforcement

Required Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of three years of experience working in an order management role (or similar), and a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Would also consider equivalent years of hands‑on experience in lieu of a degree

Previous experience working with purchase orders and quoting

Thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic sales environment

Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong aptitude for learning new applications quickly

Perform well under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines

Capable of managing multiple priorities and balancing competing tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Prior use of database information and analysis (Salesforce and Oracle)

This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations. You may only access such information if you are a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. government.

Pay Grade Range Full‑time Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position – in‑office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 annual salary.

Full‑time Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position – in‑office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA: $84,000.00 – $168,000.00.

Full‑time Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position – in‑office or hybrid employees in NJ: $88,500.00 – $177,000.00.
