Job Requirements

Works under the direction of the General and Operations Manager

Collaborate with the outside salesperson to develop and implement sales strategies to meet branch sales goals.

Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels to understand their needs, provide product information, and address inquiries or concerns.

Conduct 10+ daily outbound sales calls to prospects and existing customers to generate leads, promote products, and secure orders.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.

Assist customers with order placement, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction.

Coordinate closely with the outside salesperson to follow up on leads, provide sales support, and facilitate customer visits or meetings.

Process orders accurately and efficiently using our CRM system or order management software.

Monitor sales metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular updates to the sales team and management.

Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, finance, and customer service to resolve issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and drive growth.

Ensure pricing and packing slip matches when receiving or shipping material

Determine appropriate billing situations: COD/Cash/CC/Invoice

Responsible for daily credit card processing needs and EOM report for credit card sales

Provides consistent communication with warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs are met

Assists in warehouse and additional functions per General or Operations Manager

Collect mail, faxes and Federal Express and distribute

Candidate Requirements

High school Diploma

1-2 years of inside sales experience

Must possess excellent communication skills

Detail Oriented

Detailed knowledge of industry processes, materials and costs are vital. Ability to learn quickly

Time management skills

Must be willing to work odd hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
