The Director of Patient Services (DPS) will be responsible for the overall clinical management, regulatory compliance, and administrative operations of the home care agency. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compliant patient care services while maintaining operational efficiency.
As the senior clinical and administrative leader onsite, the DPS oversees all patient services, staff supervision, compliance requirements, and reporting functions. The DPS serves as the primary liaison between the agency and the sister company in Queens, NY, providing regular operational, clinical, and performance updates.
Responsibilities for the DPS (Director of Patient Services)
Direct and supervise all patient care services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards.
Ensure development, implementation, and ongoing review of patient care plans.
Monitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiatives.
Investigate and resolve patient complaints, incidents, and service concerns.
Ensure continuity of care and proper coordination of services.
Train and supervise clinical and paraprofessional staff.
Qualifications for the DPS (Director of Patient Services)
Must have a valid RN license in the state of New York
Prior Home Care experience
Clinical and administrative experience
