Job Summary We are seeking a strategic thinker who will collaborate across the commercial team to conceptualize, align, implement, and lead the performance analysis of promotional strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cruise or hospitality industry promotional tactics. This role will be responsible for the end‑to‑end promotion process, from leading discussions with marketing, sales and operations, to completing promotion summary documents, and ultimately to coordinate the Seaware reservation management system changes with IT. This role will also be responsible for making simple promotion related updates in the Seaware reservation system.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and implement promotional campaigns that support revenue goals across all sales channels.
Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing to align promotions with pricing strategies, demand forecasts, and seasonal trends.
Analyze historical data, booking patterns, and market trends to identify promotional opportunities.
Monitor and report on the performance of promotions, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Manage promotional calendars and ensure timely execution across digital and offline channels.
Coordinate with creative and digital teams to develop promotional assets and messaging.
Maintain documentation of promotional rules, terms, and performance metrics.
Troubleshoot the Seaware system as it relates to pricing and promotions and understanding logic and combinability rules.
Support & facilitate building new deployment product load, cruisetours, air‑inclusive packages & collectors.
Administrative support for the Inventory Manager:
Strategically and tactically manage inventory to maximize revenue through the paid upgrade program, nesting, lead pricing availability, management of waitlist confirmations and communication with vendors.
Support & facilitate execution of Special Paid Upgrade promotions where inventory needs are present.
Support & facilitate executive booking requests (Chief Commercial Officer, President).
Support & facilitate ad‑hoc revenue and inventory requests including booking of travel advisor FAM’s and special event groups including President’s cruises, press trips, etc.
Qualifications
6+ years in experience with a minimum of 3 years in promotions in the hospitality (or related) industry.
Possesses curiosity and the innate ability to be innovative by creating new solutions.
Proven skills in leading projects and coordinating multiple responsibilities.
Ability to make logical and data‑based decisions.
Excellent task management and organizational skills, with the ability to react to quick changes in strategy.
Experience in managing detail‑oriented projects with strict deadlines.
Self‑starter, motivated, analytical, accurate, inquisitive, independent thinker, team player.
Ability to think outside of the box and come up with innovative new ideas.
Must be able to interact with a culturally diverse workforce and business partners.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, and experience working with databases, Seaware, and data visualization tools.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a multi‑channel or global promotional environment.
Familiarity with A/B testing and campaign performance analysis.
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
