Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Pre-Press Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing digital files for printing, ensuring high-quality output, and troubleshooting any pre-press issues. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and format digital files for printing, including resizing, color correction, and adjusting layouts.
Conduct quality checks to ensure files meet printing standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the pre-press process.
Communicate effectively with designers, clients, and press operators to ensure clarity and accuracy of print jobs.
Manage and archive digital files in an organized manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a pre-press role within the printing industry.
Proficiency in pre-press software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Familiarity with color management and proofing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
