
Reporting to the Exec Director of Ambulatory Operations, this position provides front and back office support performing various clerical and technical duties and is responsible for financial counseling of patients, effective management of financial transactions, and timely entering of charges, and patient referrals. Performs front office duties such as scheduling patient appointments, patient registration, maintaining medical records, referrals and billing. Collects essential health, medical, and biographical information from the patient to be placed into the medical record.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
Experience with front and back-office clinic operations preferred. Ability to read, write and speak Spanish preferred. Computer literacy required, including Word and Excel. Medical billing with ICD-10 and CPT coding experience preferred. Medical insurance verification and billing experience highly desired. CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES
