
The Proposal Coordinator position offers an opportunity to work on the presentation and storytelling of an internationally recognized design firm’s portfolio and public presence through Proposals and associated Marketing efforts. The candidate is ideally highly motivated and interested in design, architecture, and the built environment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable and excels in a design-driven, collaborative, highly communicative work environment. The applicant must have excellent organizational skills, an aligned graphic sensibility, and the ability to work efficiently and maintain focus and composure under deadlines.
Core activities will include a range of long and short-term projects that include creating written and visual materials such as presentations, proposals, award submittals, media pitches, social media content, white papers, and other marketing collateral, as well as maintaining EYRC’s project data and narrative archives.
Position is open to remote or hybrid work. The salary will be commensurate with the employee’s experience, skills and availability to work in-person at the Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
Working closely with EYRC’s Partners and Graphic Designer in producing high-quality qualification packages, brochures, proposals, and presentations, including soliciting and coordinating information from internal staff, external consultants, and other team members for inclusion in proposal and presentation materials
Assist in the upkeep of all external communication including the firm website, social media presence, project collateral and resume files
Maintain and organize digital archive of project information
Refine data collection systems to effectively collect project information from design team members to ensure relevant data and project statistics are up-to-date and accurate
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
Ability to collaborate effectively with firm leadership in a supportive role while thinking strategically to refine and implement systems
Positive attitude in addition to being well-organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft text for a targeted purpose and publication
Basic graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as fluency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Storytelling aptitude through visual and written content—the ability to craft ideas into compelling messages for cohesive presentations and other deliverables
Maintains a consistently high level of internal quality control
Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, and confident in a multi-faceted environment
