Job Description CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION: The Business Development Sales / Experiential Producer is responsible for sales and business development of VOX Productions with a specific focus on the Selling of Venue Services and In-Venue Production Services at City Market Social House, and acquiring and developing preferred & exclusive production services relationships with designated venues in our market set. From sales and client relations to planning and flawless execution, this role requires a balance of creativity, financial acumen, leadership, and operational expertise. The Producer will cultivate client relationships, drive revenue growth, and ensure that every event reflects our high standards of hospitality and service excellence. Key Responsibilities **Business Development & Sales ** Generate, pursue, and close new business opportunities while maximizing profitability. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term loyalty. Develop and implement sales strategies, outreach initiatives, and marketing efforts to target new market segments. **Event Planning & Execution ** Oversee the entire event lifecycle—from inquiry and proposal to contract, planning, and final execution. Review and approve contracts, BEOs, floor plans, and final client payments. Collaborate with the stakeholders to create menus and pricing that align with client needs and business goals. Lead weekly production meetings with cross-functional teams (catering, operations, production, and accounting). Maintain onsite presence at events to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. **Leadership & Team Management ** Lead, mentor, and develop the venue team to foster strong sales and service skills. Set clear goals and expectations for team members to manage performance and accountability. Establish and enforce best practices for event profitability, staffing, and floor plan design. **Client Experience & Quality Control ** Serve as the primary point of contact for all clients and events. Handle event-related concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. Ensure every event reflects our service standards and attention to detail. **Networking & Representation ** Represent CMSH at industry events and networking opportunities. Cultivate partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and the broader hospitality community. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive experience in event sales, planning, and execution, preferably in corporate planning or brand experiential events. Strong existing network within the industry to agencies, planners, and event producers. Proven track record of driving revenue and achieving sales goals. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract review. Schedule This is a full-time role. Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs and events.
