Role Summary The Manager of Retail Sales leads sales performance and colleague development across the branch network. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on coaching to strengthen customer relationships, improve results, and build future leaders. It offers the opportunity to influence enterprise outcomes while developing talent at scale.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and develop a retail sales team to deliver consistent, high‑impact coaching across branches.
Coach Branch Managers and Relationship Bankers through in‑branch observations, role play, and feedback.
Drive application of training by partnering with learning teams and supporting new colleagues.
Analyze sales performance and partner with branch leadership on targeted improvement plans.
Implement and reinforce consistent sales processes and tools.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align sales strategies and campaigns.
Share best practices and recognize performance excellence across the network.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6+ years experience in retail banking, financial services, or sales coaching/training.
3+ years experience as a Branch Manager, District Manager, or similar leadership role.
Preferred
Experience leading sales coaching teams across multiple locations.
Strong facilitation or training background.
