Sr Manager, Service Sales and Operations – Raleigh, NC
Responsibilities
Partner with the General Manager to develop and implement the operating territory service sales and operations business plan.
Lead field operations for all service/maintenance projects, ensuring schedules and deadlines are met.
Set expectations for field technician engagement and provide supervisors with necessary training and performance management.
Expand customer portfolio and unit count while maintaining high levels of customer loyalty.
Develop action plans to address deficiencies in safety, callback rates, and technical support.
Generate field leads and assist sales representatives in selling upgrades and repairs.
Maintain key prospective customers, manage accounts at risk or cancellations, and increase loyalty.
Recommend changes to maintenance service documentation, methods, processes, design, and delivery.
Set budgets for material and labor within company guidelines and complete required maintenance and repair within those budgets.
Conduct field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans.
Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders.
Engage in pro‑active labor relations with local business agents.
Hire and onboard new team members.
Interface with product line experts on operational challenges.
Lead resolution of all customer issues within the territory, including collection efforts and contractual disputes.
Coach, mentor, and develop the Sales and Operations team to achieve clear sales goals and performance targets.
Experience & Qualifications
Multiple years of experience in the elevator industry or other service‑oriented business.
5+ years of B2B sales experience.
5+ years of people leadership experience in the elevator industry or related industry.
Proven ability to understand financial statements, commercial contracts, and overall product knowledge.
Track record of meeting financial goals and objectives.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of elevator industry management experience strongly preferred.
Team‑oriented and dynamic working style.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
Comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft software.
Strong leadership, goal‑oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of EH&S policy and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree highly desired with 5 years of experience.
High school or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.
Overall knowledge of product application, service techniques, financial statements, and contract terms.
