Overview The Digital Merchandiser is responsible for driving online sales performance through strategic product positioning, optimized discovery, and data‑driven merchandising initiatives. This role owns the accuracy, presentation, and performance of the online product catalog, ensuring all product attributes, taxonomy, and digital assets meet brand, merchandising, and customer experience standards. This position leads ongoing analysis of site performance, including product, category, and customer behavior metrics to inform merchandising strategies and continuous optimization. In collaboration with marketing and merchandising partners, the Digital Merchandiser executes seasonal and campaign‑driven merchandising strategies, ensuring the right product assortments, storytelling, and timing to support business goals and brand priorities.

Responsibilities

Own assigned product categories, leading visual merchandising strategies that deliver an intuitive, visually compelling shopping experience aligned to sales objectives and featured campaigns.

Manage the online product catalog for select categories, including new product setup in close partnership with copywriting and photography teams to ensure timely, accurate product copy and imagery. Build and maintain category structures that support merchandising, marketing, and organizational goals.

Analyze website performance on a weekly and monthly basis to uncover opportunities, understand customer behavior, optimize product placement, and improve conversion rates. Leverage reporting and analytics to evaluate category and product performance, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to management and merchant partners with a focus on revenue growth and conversion lift.

Moderate and manage customer reviews and product‑related inquiries across all product categories to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and a positive customer experience.

Provide link creation, validation, and ongoing support for the email and marketing teams across all email, SMS, and social media campaigns.

Curate, manage, and maintain user‑generated content (UGC) across the website to enhance product storytelling, credibility, and customer engagement.

Create, maintain, and optimize upsell and cross‑sell product carousels across product detail and category pages to increase average order value.

Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging digital technologies to continuously evolve merchandising strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.

Conduct regular site audits to ensure product categories, placements, and content remain accurate, current, and aligned with merchandising standards.

Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize merchandising strategies and improve customer engagement and performance.

Engage with internal teams, including store and the store operations team to address inquiries related to site merchandising.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of successful digital merchandising experience.

Successful experience in B2C required.

Expertise in eCommerce platforms required; Salesforce Commerce preferred.

Expertise in digital merchandising platforms required; Salesforce Commerce and Bloomreach preferred.

Advanced experience in Google Analytics required.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce complex data into actionable strategies.

Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and engage direct peers and cross‑functional partners.

Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple initiatives with minimal direction in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong aptitude for quickly learning and adopting new tools, platforms, and technologies.

SEO best practice knowledge, preferred.

1+ years experience in fine jewelry experience, preferred.

Work Environment The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on‑site in Home Office 1-2 days per week on an ongoing basis. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

Base Pay Range for this role is $76,500 - $94,500 annually. Your placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members and alignment with geographic market data. Home office base pay ranges are based on the Denver market. We target most new hire offers toward the lower end of the listed range, but more demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills may result in a higher starting rate.

Beyond Base Pay Home office positions are eligible for consideration for an annual bonus, based on total company performance. Amounts vary by role and are based on a percentage of eligible earnings for the fiscal year.
