Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Community Engagement Specialist, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves building and maintaining relationships within the community to foster engagement and awareness of Exponents’ programs and services. Responsibilities include organizing outreach activities, providing exceptional customer service to community members, and managing communication related to events and initiatives. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support program objectives, while some work-from-home flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build meaningful relationships within diverse communities.

Proficiency in community engagement and community management to effectively connect with and serve target populations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to collaborate with stakeholders and respond to community needs.

Highly adaptable with a passion for advocating for Persons Who Use Drugs and promoting health and wellness.

Familiarity with challenges related to public health, addiction, or behavioral health is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
