We’re a hard-working, smart, creative, and incredibly collaborative team who also happen to be completely obsessed with studying abroad. The Temporary Graphic Designer will collaborate with the Art Director and Creative Project Manager on the design of IES Abroad’s print and online marketing-related materials. The Temporary Graphic Designer will work on a range of design projects for stakeholders across the company and will be an integral part of the marketing team, working on design projects from concept to production.**Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties:****Design Support:*** Assist Art Director and Creative Project Manager with the production of IES Abroad study abroad and IES Internships catalogs (500+ pages total) published annually.* Assist with design and production of specialized publications for IES Abroad, IES Customized & Faculty-Led Programs, IES Internships, and Access & Strategic Partnerships as needed, such as:
+ Brochures
+ Flyers
+ Advertisements (print and online)
+ Email
+ Agendas and Calendars
+ Posters
+ Promotional giveaway items
+ Custom graphics for social media or websites* Assist with enforcing, updating, and communicating the IES Global Style Guide requirements worldwide.* Production of Canva templates for social media, newsletters, calendars, and presentation.**Digital Asset Management (DAM):*** Assist Creative Project Manager with Digital Asset Management by reviewing and tagging newly uploaded photos.* Assist Creative Project Manager with Photographer Student Correspondents by reviewing and tagging newly uploaded photos, monitoring Correspondent progress, and handling any necessary correspondence with student photographers.**Other:*** Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.* Any other task or duty as assigned or required.**Experience & Qualifications/Skills:*** One to three years of experience in Graphic Design, **with a portfolio**.* Strong computer skills including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.* Superior design and editing skills.* Extremely detail-oriented.* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.* MacOS software knowledge* Ability to prioritize projects, multitask, and meet firm deadlines.* Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and flexibly.* Interest in study abroad and travel a bonus.**Education, Licenses and /or Certifications, etc.*** High School Diploma required* Degree or coursework completed for Graphic Design, or relevant experience desirable**Hiring Salary**$20.00 per hour**Benefits Eligible**No**How to Apply:**All applicants should submit an application including cover letter, resume, and salary requirements by clicking 'Apply' at the top of this page.Please visit
