
Pay Rate: $23 - $29 (hourly estimate)
Job Description An employer in the Los Angeles area is looking for an Event Producer. This is a 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension & conversion. On site once a week (Thursdays), with the expectation of attending a conference once every couple of months. This will be supporting a healthcare organization, assisting with the planning of large events, including high level conferences, rose bowl parade, office of board events, grand openings for new sites, and more. This individual must be very communicative and organized, as they will be helping plan logistics to ensure a successful event. They will work with various departments internally for planning purposes, as well as vendors externally to make sure all details are in order. One year of experience in a similar role is needed, preferably in a healthcare environment. This has the opportunity to convert to a full-time employee after contract completion.

Required Skills & Experience
1+ year of experience in Event Planning, particularly in a healthcare environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience planning large higher-level events and/or conferences
Experience communicating across departments (ie. creative team) and with vendors to assist with planning
