Overview
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist to lead the research, development, implementation, and reporting across our owned channels as well as our influencer strategy. You will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, engagement, and growth across all Sprouts’ social media platforms. Additionally, you’ll develop a robust influencer program that aligns with our core audience segments and demographics. All of this will be accomplished through collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. You should have a strong grasp of the marketing tools necessary to reach our goals, provide ongoing performance measurement and optimizations opportunities, and pilot innovative approaches to our social and influencer strategies. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for social media, understands its business impact and will be obsessed with delivering results.
Overview of Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage organic social media strategy
Develop, implement, and manage influencer strategies
Grow our social media following and customer engagement on core channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with the ability to develop a presence on emerging social channels for Sprouts (Pinterest and You Tube Shorts)
Stay up-to-date with social technologies and best practices to actively communicate areas of opportunity
Management of social listening and trend analysis to inform future content needs
Liaise with brand team to ensure content is in line with the channel best practices
Brief external agencies on Go To Market strategies to help develop content that drives the business forward
Shoot and edit impactful, social-first content for all social platforms
Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for social media campaigns and activations
Train internal teams to integrate and maintain a cohesive social media strategy
Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Develop insights to analyze and improve channel health
Author POV’s for leadership using analytics and insights
Development and execution of presentations for marketing leadership
Qualifications
5+ years of experience and demonstrated success developing and implementing social media/influencer strategies
Comfort and proficiency building out media and campaign measurement plans
Extensive experience with social media management tools/customer experience platforms (e.g. Dash Hudson)
Comfort with media analytics
Ability to influence key stakeholders to test and/or adopt new channels and content
Exceptional critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic work environment
Bias for action and performance
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Resourceful and self-motivated approach to work, with a keen interest in continual learning
Collaborative, team-player with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of SEO metrics
