We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and dynamic social media and graphic design specialist to join our team as a Content Creator. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for visual storytelling, a strong understanding of branding, a pulse on digital design trends - and a genuine love for animals.

In this role, you will create compelling videos and static content across digital, print, and social platforms, primarily supporting three major veterinary specialty and ER hospitals in the Los Angeles area. You will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, operations, veterinary relations, marketing, brand, communications, public relations, and digital teams to develop and execute content that supports strategic growth initiatives.

Marketing Manager

to join the Thrive Pet Healthcare Home Office team. In this role, you’ll play a meaningful part in advancing our organization’s priorities and supporting our hospital teams. Your expertise will help improve processes, elevate the employee and client experience, and strengthen the operational foundation of a growing, nationwide veterinary network.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Veterinary Relations Managers (VRMs) and Specialty/ER hospital leadership to align content with local growth strategies and service line priorities.

Develop and execute location-specific marketing content, including e-blasts (CE programs, rDVM communications via SmarterSends), social media, and digital promotions.

Own social media planning, publishing, and performance tracking; analyze engagement metrics and optimize content accordingly.

Capture and produce photography and video showcasing hospital expertise, culture, and specialty services.

Design and deliver graphics, videos, and layouts for digital and print materials in alignment with brand guidelines.

Collaborate with centralized marketing teams to support cohesive, multi-channel campaigns when time allows.

Maintain brand consistency across all assets and prepare final files for production, as needed.

Manage a SharePoint-based digital asset management (DAM) system for scalable content organization.

Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices - especially social media trends.

Develop trust with field stakeholders such as practice managers, medical directors, and vet relations representatives at the hospitals, and operations managers, directors, and VPs that support hospital operations.

Coach operations partners and hospitals’ leadership on marketing programs, strategies, and tactics that are appropriate for the hospitals’ goals.

Foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among the hospitals in the region.

Support hospitals’ leadership with empathy and with a solution-oriented approach.

This role plays a key coordination function across three ACCESS locations, supporting B2B and B2C stakeholders, internal physicians and hospital leadership, and the needs of the support office.

Partner with operations and hospital leadership to assess needs, capacity, and growth opportunities, translating insights into targeted marketing support and execution.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams to brainstorm new programs, develop localized tactics, and lead hospital-specific initiatives from concept through execution.

Experience & Skills Requirements

7+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, Social Media Specialist, or similar creative role

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines

Experience working cross-functionally in marketing or brand environments

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred, not required)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premier Pro (or similar editing software) etc.)

Experience using Meta Business Suite toolset for social media management

Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across social media (video and static), digital and print assets

Photography and video editing expertise

Animation and/or motion design experience

Understanding of UX/UI principles (preferred)

Knowledge of core marketing and advertising principles

Experience with project management tools and workflows
