OTE $120k (Base Salary + Commission) Role Summary
The Account Executive – Events & Brand Activations (NYC) is responsible for driving new business through outbound agency and brand prospecting while owning and rapidly closing high-intent inbound event leads. This role positions Majestic as a premium experiential partner for high-profile brand activations, managing the full sales cycle from creative pitch through flawless execution. Success is defined by strong NYC market relationships, disciplined sales execution, and the ability to consistently convert opportunities into memorable, revenue-driving experiences. Responsibilities & Key Tasks
Inbound Lead Management & Rapid Closing (50%) Own the NYC inbound pipeline, providing lightning-fast responses to high-intent inquiries for galas, corporate holiday parties, and brand pop-ups.
Consult with clients to up-sell custom features, including bespoke backdrops, custom-fabricated booth wraps, and advanced digital social-sharing integrations.
Maximize contract value by identifying opportunities for multi-day rentals or recurring seasonal event series.
Outbound Business Development & Agency Prospecting (25%) Aggressively prospect and secure partnerships with NYC’s leading experiential, PR, and Creative agencies.
Identify and "hunt" brand-direct opportunities for product launches, flagship openings, and seasonal activations across the NYC market.
Navigate complex agency hierarchies to get Majestic on "Preferred Vendor" lists for national brand tours and high-profile activations.
Conduct high-level creative pitches, presenting Majestic as the premium aesthetic choice for brands that refuse to compromise on design.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial cold outreach in Apollo/LinkedIn to contract execution and deposit collection.
Strategic Account Management & Relationship Retention (15%) Build and nurture long-term relationships with Agency Producers and Brand Managers to ensure Majestic is the first call for every recurring event.
Act as the primary liaison between the client’s creative vision and the Majestic production team to ensure the activation is delivered flawlessly.
Conduct post-event "debriefs" with key accounts to present engagement data and secure the next booking.
Project Scoping, Site Visits & Sales Operations (5%) Conduct physical site visits across NYC venues to assess load-in requirements, Wi‑Fi stability, and aesthetic placement for high-stakes activations.
Maintain real-time accuracy in HubSpot, tracking revenue goals, lead sources, and contract statuses to ensure a predictable sales forecast.
Collaborate with the local NYC operations team to ensure all "sold" custom elements are feasible and within production timelines.
Administrative & Special Projects (5%) Participate in weekly sales meetings and strategy sessions to refine the NYC pricing model and outreach tactics.
Perform other role‑specific duties and special projects as assigned, including support for national account initiatives and brand‑specific "Whale" hunts.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in a sales role.
Software & Systems HubSpot, Notion, Lemlist, Apollo.
Skills & Attributes Relationship Building:
Naturally builds, nurtures, and expands long‑term relationships with agency partners and brand managers.
Drive:
Proactive, competitive, and energized by outbound prospecting and winning high‑value business.
Sales Discipline:
